Traditional Agriculture Practice

The organization is involved in the protection of rights and development of the weakest sections of the society excluded aboriginals, ST/PVTG, women ,children ,tribals,  backward classes, farmers, artisans, person with disability.. The organization has in addition accorded high priority to creating a network of community based institutions, community organization like women, farmers, youth, children, adolescent girls who are taking initiatives to protect their rights and entitlements. The organization strives to provide access to education, health and livelihood opportunity to the community, while focusing on sustainable solution for the long term- and approach we call “social – inclusion”. The role of the organization on promoting community-based programs is related to integrated development of the socially backward, deprived & weaker sections of the society. Focusing on farmers on sustainable solution for agricultural development in long run the organization worked on implementation of Govt. schemes like NMSA, NFSM, and MIDH etc. Organization core activities and strategy supports the grass root intervention with key issues of agriculture development, livelihood enhancement through vocational training, agriculture promotion, livestock farming, promoting community based programs related to environment protection and conservation.

Sustainable agriculture practice and Organic Farming:

Konnect Global Foundation is working to enrich and improve the lives of tribal communities of Jhabua (MP),specific to promotion of scientific agriculture and organic farming practice to increase income from organic cotton, soya bean, pigeon pea .Konnect Global Foundation has conducted a survey of 2500 farmers in Jhabua (Petlabad)district and 2000 farmers in Alwar district of Rajasthan in association  with Ashirwad Agri Service Centre Vikashnagar (Dehradoon) .  The practice has been adopted by farmers regarding INM (Vermin composting, vermin wash etc.) and IPM (Panch Gavaya, pesticides made of local herbs etc.). Dependency on chemical fertilizer and pesticides has reduced and farmers adopted natural farming and in process of organic certification.
